They say, 'You always hurt the one you love.' If that's true, how should we protect the people we care most about? Do we just stop loving them? Love is a mark of the highest respect, yet it can become the reason why two people fail to respect each other's most basic needs. It is the ultimate expression of empathy, yet it can sometimes give rise to the most intense experience of isolation. Now, what about the love/hate relationship that you now seem to be so hopelessly caught up in? Who is it hurting?You never know what it's like to get hurt until someone you love stops loving you.
You never know what it means to be lonely until someone you love walks out of your life.
Can you love and hate someone at the same time? Can you love someone by not loving them?
But how do you stop loving someone? I don't know how to do that.
