My lucky day

September 23rd seems to be a good day for me......

Many years ago, I watched a concert on 9/23.  It was the first concert that I bought tickets for with my own money.  It was a mesmerizing concert for many reasons.

A few years ago, I purchased my first smartphone on 9/23.  At the time, it was one of the bigger ticket items that I've ever bought for myself.  Technology opens up a lot of opportunities.

Last year on 9/23, I signed the papers for my first car.  Whether or not it was the most logical or financially sound decision is debatable.  But a year on out, I know nothing else would be quite as satisfying.

It was all by chance that these significant things happened all on the same day.  9/23 today, I did not attend any special events nor did I make any big purchases, but perhaps I've made up my mind about my next big purchase.

What will the next 9/23 bring?

Back to Square One

Today's plan was a "bad" idea.

I thought I was ready to make a decision.  Or, at least, I had narrowed done my choices sufficiently to make a decision relatively soon.

Just before making a decision, it seemed like a good idea to get some input from an expert...

And he crushed everything I had in mind.

Going along with his advice would be the rational and probably safest thing to do.

But this step was never really a rational decision to begin with.  Going along in the most rational direction would probably compromise the other things I'm trying to achieve with this step.

This step has far greater implications than anyone realizes.......

Time to re-think...everything.

Decisions...decisions...

Attempting to navigate my way through a decision that constitutes the first part of the next step on this never-ending journey of mine to some seemingly invisible destination.

A very pricey step, but a very important one.

Hopefully, if I do this correctly and play my cards right going forward, this will be a big step forward.

A textbook on my shelf caught my attention as I was looking for information on something very specific.

I don't think I have ever used this book.

It probably shouldn't be here.

It's not even mine.

Am I hallucinating?

Or do the pages of this book, that has never been opened for years and years, give off a certain scent?
